![]() Thankfully I brought my receipt and they were able to accommodate us. Made a reservation at Le petit Chef and arrived to the venue later that night and they were not expecting us. The consierge at Mayan palace was the worse. Two nights later we returned and a different waiter was able to help us and made everything as we ordered. The serves was rude and said nothing could be done. We dined at Salum one night and we could not make any modifications to the food- such as no onions on the tacos. On the next day when we asked for the door to be opened, they said that it was a miscommunication and we had to move rooms yet again. We spoke to the front office manager and she said she would take care of it again. Second night, we asked to have the door for our master suite since we had another room coming on the second night. Due to the number of people traveling with us they downgraded us from our membership to the Mayan Palace, it appears the service also got downgraded. We are founding members of Vidanta, the experiences have gone down hill. If you don't know any better, you may be able to accept the crappy service here. It is all inclusive meaning all your meals and drinks including alcoholic beverages and it is about $1000-1500 less a week than this place and the service is outstanding. I get here and I'm told that it's not even possible to upgrade my internet and no one can help. I called ahead of time asking if I could buy additional internet. I'm getting my steps in so it's great but honestly why offer something if you can't offer great service to go with it. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes getting from one place to another. It takes longer trying to wait on the shuttle than just walking. They have a shuttle system around the complex but it is terrible. He said ok but we waited another 15 minutes and he still hadn't taken our dessert order so I just asked for my bill so we could leave. At the end I asked if we could place an order for dessert only for them to bring the check out to us. ![]() So we got up and went back in line to be seated again closer to where the waiters were. First, we were seated by the water but we waited 10-15 minutes and no one had greeted us yet let alone taken our drink order. all said on the same day, same destination. The shuttle fee for example, front desk says $5, concierge says $6, driver says $7. The rooms are modern but the service is horrendous!. Again it was very pretty and our room was very nice, but other than the actual amenities it was not my favorite due to poor communication and continual lies from the front desk staff. The shuttles are a mess and a half, no clear system - always plan for at least 30 minutes to get anywhere. They literally charge you for everything…even coffee in your room…I mean we knew we’d be spending money, but on coffee?. They had more than 3 chances throughout our stay to tell us it had to be set up before 9pm but always said the day before…that’s it. Then shuttle back to the airport was just as terrible, our group left different days and we were told to come the day before to set it up even though we tried to set it up on arrival to ensure no problems…of course that wasn’t possible either. When talking with the front desk no one cared, offered a refund for our cab ride, and every person gave a different answer. Then got to the airport to SEE the shuttle by the resort who of course refused to take us since we had not set it up 24 hours in advance. I called to set up a shuttle to the resort from the airport where I was informed they no longer offer this service at all since November 2022. ![]() Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort. The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Riviera Maya Pool. The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Riviera Maya Rooms. The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Riviera Maya Gym.The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Riviera Maya Features.Hotels near The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Riviera Maya. One pizza can feed 2-3 people and is around 250 pesos.and it is delicious! Cooked in a wood fired pizza from the Havana Moon restaurant. I highly recommend ordering the room service pizza. BlueFish is near the Lobby of the Grand Mayan, and it's great for lunch and dinner. Balche(lunch) and Frida's(dinner) are the same location near the pool. Havana Moon has the best view, and the dinner menu is diverse and good. Havana Moon offers a breakfast buffet on the weekend, and Del Lago offers a breakfast buffet each day. Green Break, the restaurant at the golf course was great for breakfast and has Happy hour from 3-5pm each day. All meals were very good and reasonably priced. We chose to dine on site for our entire stay except for the times we went site seeing. ![]() With the exception of 2 restaurants on site (Gong & Tramonto) which require reservations and are more expensive, all other restaurants are comparable to American prices at restaurants.$7-$10 usd for lunch and $10-$25ish usd for dinner. ![]()
